This is just a snippet of me goofing around with the AD DW clean kit. I've posted this before, but it's worth a second listen. If it works well and sounds good, does it really matter? Very organic and natural, especially the clean kits.

I do agree that Ocean Way Drums are awesome sounding as I have OWD Silver however, I sure wish they'd work on that hi-hat script (not the one for the Group Buy but the multitrack OWD) & get it to work better. It would be a dream for it to be inside a module too. I think this VST would be good for gigs but I don't think the sound quality is in the same league as Ocean Way and Platinum Samples.The demos all sound edgy and slightly distorted to my ears,which apparently is because all the files are MP3's instead of WAV.It is really great that they have it working this well for E drums.Īfter playing the Sonic Reality Neil Peart kit at NAMM I am fixed on having something that good and natural sounding.
